Her smile was stuck on her face the entire morning. As she buzzed around the house trying to get ready, her flock of bridesmaids trailed along behind her. “I can’t believe it’s here!” she squealed. Although she may have been buzzing around, she was calm as could be. Calm and filled with pure excitement.

On the other side of town, Chris was doing the same thing. Although he and his groomsmen preferred telling jokes and thinking up hypothetical pranks. He was cool and collected, and could hardly stand another minute before he saw his bride.

She practically ran down the aisle, both of them fighting back tears. The ceremony was quick, but Chris and Meghan took it all in, focusing only on each other, her new husband and his new wife. At the end of the night when I said goodbye to the new Mr. and Mrs. Buzby, HE squealed with joy after saying, “I’m married!!! How cool is that?!”

I’m so happy for you, Chris and Meghan! Your wedding day was beautiful and you both make an even more beautiful pair. I know you will completely embrace one another every step of the way through this new journey of yours. Congratulations!
