It has been a CRAZY summer and fall, y’all! I had 18 Weddings on the calendar this year (3 weddings to go!) and I’ve been trying to adjust my life and business with also being a mom of THREE kids. I’ve met some seriously amazing people so far this year, and my 2017 calendar is starting to fill up with equally amazing couples! I wanted to thank each of you for continuing to support and encourage me this year, weather on social media, this blog, or among your friends. I really love what I do, but could not do it without your help!

This fall is shaping up to be very exciting, with lots of fun things in the pipeline. Since I don’t send out a newsletter (I have other things to do, like dress my baby up in ridiculous bows!), I wanted to update you on a few things that are going to happen in the next couple months!

– Every year, I set a deadline for taking pictures that are expected to be returned in time for Christmas and the holidays. This allows me to enjoy the holidays with my family, too! This deadline is November 13. I have very limited availability left for this, so if you’re wanting something to put on a beautiful Christmas card, let me know ASAP by e-mailing me directly, or using the Contact Me page on my website.

– I am opening a certain number of dates for weddings in the 2017 and 2018 years. I still currently have some availability for 2017 dates! Did you know that ALL of my wedding collections now include a complimentary engagement session? I’ve found that engagement sessions are a super fun way for us to meet and get to know each other before your wedding. Plus, who doesn’t want dreamy photographs of your little romance before your wedding?!

– My website is getting ready to undergo a little face lift in the next few months! You may see little changes here or there as I slowly roll things out! I’m really excited about it, and hope you’ll keep coming back and leaving feedback for me! I really love hearing your thoughts about what you want to see!

– And now for the most exciting piece of news! This winter (January/February time), I will be hosting a WORKSHOP to help all of you who have a really nice camera, but aren’t sure how to break out of “Automatic Mode!” I’ll be teaching DSLR camera basics, a little on composition and lighting, and how to get the most out of your camera phone! This workshop will take place at a cute, little local venue in Southern Maryland with tons of sweet details to make the whole experience a memorable (and valuable!) one! There will be more details to follow SHORTLY! I can’t even contain my excitement for this!
