Y’all, I am so excited to announce this morning that the Photography for Moms Workshop will be adding a THIRD session coming this fall! Mark your calendars, folks:

After some demand to offer another date and session, we’re at it again, but with some fresh new decor, and a fun treat for you beautiful Mamas: a Girl’s Night Out! Unlike the other workshops which took place in the early afternoon, this workshop will take place in the beloved “Golden Hour” / early evening giving attendees a chance to practice their newly learned skills in the most beautiful light! Not only that, but we’ll be offering some fabulous finger food and a signature cocktail. Did I mention that you’ll also go home with a fabulous goodie bag filled to the brim with fun things from local vendors?! You’ll want to join up together with your best girlfriends for a beautifully styled evening of learning, fun, and community!

Here’s what we’re going to cover:

• How to break out of Automatic Mode: Understanding your DSLR camera
• Basic lighting and composition: Making a better photograph
• Take better pictures with your iPhone (or smart phone) with some tips and tricks

You’ll have an opportunity to ask questions throughout the workshop, practice your new skills on different styled “stations” or even go outside and practice on a friend! You’ll be able to bring your camera and work on it during the presentation. During the break period where you can practice, I will be floating around to answer any questions, help with your camera’s settings, and offer help from another professional photographer colleague who will also be floating around!

My hope is that you can get yourself fancy and enjoy a kid-free, beautiful evening perfecting a skill that will help you take better pictures of your kids and families! I so hope that you’ll join us!
