The past few weeks have been just like Christmas for me! No, I didn’t drag our Christmas decorations out. I haven’t even started listening to Christmas music yet (Bobby won’t let me until the day after Thanksgiving – he’s sometimes a grinch).I have become excellent friends with the Post Office, the UPS man and the FedEx man and am happy to announce that we are on a first name basis now.

The reason for this mid-year shower of deliveries? Well, I have started to invest in my business not only with my time, but now with my earnings. In the past eight months that I’ve been open for business, I’ve watched it grow – so much faster than I ever thought it would – and I’m just ecstatic! It is all because of YOU. Thank YOU for helping me get to this place – my readers – I love you guys!

So, what kind of goodies did I get, you may ask? Well, all things to help my business grow, but there are some fun things, too!

First, let me introduce you to my baby. Hi Baby, I love you. Let me take pictures of you with my baby, he makes everything look so much better. Mmmm… Brand spankin’ new camera and a new, lovely lens.

New Business Cards!!! One of the perks of owning my own business is that I get to do all of my own marketing – which was what I majored in in college. I’m having a total blast with it! These business cards are slightly thicker than normal and are laminated with some of my pictures on one side and the business stuff on the other side! I got them from MOO and I am in love with them. Oh, did I mention that they are eco-friendly??

And now you have my business card! Bobby told me I spelled my name wrong. Then I punched him {lovingly} in the arm because I believed him for 2.45 seconds.

Oh, dear. I have a weakness for this thing. I’ve had my eyes on them for a while and I could never justify my purchase…until now, that is. One of my favorite photographers, Jessica Claire, went and thunk the idea right up and it’s just so purty. Don’t you think? It’s a bag to carry my lenses around with me while I shoot.

Oh, and the coveted Shootsac Logo. I just love the fabric, too.

Last but not least… I’ve had several people e-mail me about wanting to give my services to someone else via Gift Certificate. Well first of all, I’m flattered anyone would want to share my services with another human being (or animal?) so thank you for your interest. Second of all, they’re here!!! You can now purchase pretty little gift certificates that come specially packaged to give to friends, family members, pregnant ladies, new mom’s, old mom’s, your brothers dog, whomever.

They are good for one year and can be sold for print credit or credit for their full session fee. It would be a great gift from a group to (for example) a new mom for the “Year of Baby” package.
