I’ve been watching him grow up since he was a tiny, little baby. He arrived just a bit early – much to his parents’ surprise – but was showered in love nonetheless.

It never ceases to amaze me how much babies grow in their first year. From just a helpless babe, they grow into these crawling/walking machines that cuddle and dangle Cheerios from their chins! Collin is no exception to this. He could barely hold his head up when I first saw him. Halfway through the year, he wouldn’t smile for me. Then his next session later, he was ALL smiles. He showed up at my house this morning and he looked like a boy. Baby no more, this boy is on the move. Smiling and giving “high-gives” to his Dad, he still snuggles with his Mama. Oh, how it melts my heart to see these babies grow up and learn so many new things in their first year!

Thanks to Collin for being such a good model, and to his parents for having such patience with me while I worked with their sweet boy. Happy FIRST Birthday, Collin!
