Meet Chelsea

What happens when a Maryland Waterman and a local Floral Designer get hitched? Magic. The story of Mac and Kalyn is beautiful and sweet, and perfectly them. It was only fitting that these two laid back people from Maryland’s Eastern Shore chose to get married in the bride’s childhood home to her sweetheart. Their wedding took place last fall in the backyard of Kalyn’s parent’s home, which her dad built. Once their wedding took place, her parents sold that house to become empty nester’s, so having the wedding there was so special! They brought in a gorgeous tent, beautiful linens in a unique, autumn colorway with some rustic details that spoke of the bride and groom’s loves: flowers, antique waterman instruments and great food and drink!

The bride did all of the flowers, of course, and included some feathers of native birds and beautiful, native-to-Maryland flowers. Her bridesmaids chose different dresses within her color palette and they looked so lovely all together!

The guests danced the night away under a big, white tent and endless twinkle lights! It was the perfect, intimate wedding that was filled with personal details that really told the story of Kalyn + Mac!
